Who is Prime Experiences?
Prime Experiences is a Miami-based yacht experience and event company, founded in 2011 by Jose David Tobon and Juan Sebastian Garcia and operating across Miami, Miami Beach and South Florida. We design and host private yacht experiences, yacht charters, corporate yacht venues and events, weddings, executive gatherings and social celebrations, with the yacht, licensed captain, professional crew and hospitality handled by our team.
This website is the Prime Experiences Experiences hub: a curated collection of private, ready-to-book experiences for smaller groups, executives, couples, families and companies. Our fleet and event planning services live on their own Prime Experiences websites, all operated by the same company and the same team.

Our story
We started with yachts. Guests came for the moment.
Prime began as a yacht charter company in Miami: two founders, a shared passion for hospitality, and a growing group of guests who kept coming back. Over time a pattern became obvious. People were not booking a boat. They were marking a birthday, closing a deal, thanking a client, celebrating an anniversary, or finally giving their family a day with nothing to manage.
So we changed what we sold. Instead of hours on a vessel, we started producing the whole day: the concept, the menu, the route, the crew, the hospitality. As Miami grew and corporate demand followed, Prime expanded into yacht venues for company events, executive gatherings, team retreats, weddings and private celebrations.
Today Prime Experiences brings those capabilities together in one place: a fleet to choose from, an events team for larger productions, and a curated collection of experiences you can simply pick and book.

JD and Juan founded Prime in 2011 around hospitality, entrepreneurship and a belief that a day on the water should feel effortless for the guest and precise behind the scenes.
What started as a small charter operation has grown into one of South Florida's experience companies, hosting thousands of guests and producing events for recognized brands including Disney, Spotify, Cisco, Santander, PepsiCo and Caterpillar. Both founders remain involved in the business day to day.
